Inflatable Kayaking 

Learn to kayak! Experiencing the Rio Grande in an inflatable kayak gives you an up close encounter with the river and the riparian habitat. Our guided trips focus on teaching fundamental kayaking techniques, the basics of river navigation, and self rescue to increase your skills and confidence. We offer kayaking trips on select weekdays and weekends. Learning with our trained professional guides will increase your safety and fun on the river! 

Guided Inflatable Kayak Trips

As of Sept 1st, due to low flows, we are not longer taking reservations for paddling trips for the 2023 season.

Moderate Class II+ Half Day

The Milk Run -  This is moderate Class II+ section is Wagon Wheel Gap to Upper Coller State Wildlife Area. It offers mellow rapids, incredible scenery, and fun splashy wave trains. 

Duration - 3 to 4 hours M-F or 2 hours on weekends

Cost - $100 Includes wetsuit and/or splash gear.​​

Mild Class II - Half Day

Cottonwood Bottoms -  Explore the riparian habitat between county Road 19 and County Road 17. This section offers a few mellow rapids and splashy waves. It is perfect for your first time and great for families. 

Duration - 3 to 4 hours M-F or 2 hours on weekends

Cost - $100 Includes wetsuit and/or splash gear.

Mild Class I to II - 1/4 Day

Town Run -  Between Town Park and County Road 19 in South Fork you can have some fun learning to kayak. This is a good option if you're looking for a milder river adventure.

Duration - About 2 hours

Cost - $70  - Includes wetsuit and/or splash gear.​​
