General Policies

Customer safety is a primary objective of Narrow Ridge. All programming is designed with the safety of all involved as a priority.

Narrow Ridge supports inclusivity in its organizational philosophy and will work to accommodate customers to the best of its capabilities, training, and in accordance with industry standards. Narrow Ridge will not discriminate based on individual’s age, race, sex, color, religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, or any other applicable status protected by federal, state or local law.

Likewise, Narrow Ridge will not tolerate abusive, sexist, or otherwise disrespectful words or behaviors of any guest at any time. Guest whose conduct is deemed unacceptable according to this policy will be required to leave the trip at the nearest public launch and responsible for their own transportation.

Because Narrow Ridge prioritizes safety and risk management, it reserves the right to elect not to provide services to customers deemed unprepared or unfit for activities or for any other reason in the judgement of Narrow Ridge staff whereby the safety or quality of experience of the individual, group, or staff may be compromised.

Children 17 years and under must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian unless participating as part of a specific group program.

Children must be at least 8 years old to participate in Narrow Ridge climbing or rappelling activities.

All customers must complete and sign a Liability Release form. If under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must sign the form.

All climbing and rappelling trip customers must complete the Narrow Ridge Registration and Health Statement Form.

All customers must be physically, mentally, and emotionally capable of participating in the selected activities.

All customers must self-report any pertinent health related issues at the time of reservation. Narrow Ridge will use this information for the purposes of screening for health and fitness relevant to the activities and in case of emergencies may provide this information to emergency medical services.

All customers must be sober while engaged in Narrow Ridge activities. Alcohol and drugs are prohibited from Narrow Ridge activities. Any customer suspected of violating this policy will prohibited from participation and not eligible for a refund.

Cancellation Policies

For a cancellation, change in group number, or change in date/time made by a guest within 48 hours of the start time of the activity, the guest will be allowed to transfer funds to a different date or future activity but no refund will be provided.

For a cancellation, change in group number, or change in date/time made by a guest prior to 48 hours before the start time of the activity, the guest will be provided the option of transferring funds to a different date, future activity, or a refund.

Cancellation by Narrow Ridge for any reason will be communicated in a timely manner with customers. Any refund or application of funds received towards future service will be negotiated with the customer without penalty.
